This is the first selected readings of Chinese newspa- pers with explanations in Russian. It is designed for Russian speaking students to learn Chinese as a foreign language. All the passages included are from important Chinese newspapers, such as Peoples Daily, Guangming Daily, etc, covering various aspects of Chinese society, the economy and culture.
