With a population of 324,528 at the 2010 census the city of Santa Ana is the second most populous city in Orange County, California. Santa Ana is also the 57th most populous city in the United States. The city of Santa Ana gets its name from the Santa Ana freeway the I-5, which runs through the city. Also sharing it's name from the Santa Ana mountains and the infamous Santa Ana winds which have historically caused and fueled the seasonal wildfires throughout much of Southern California.
The climate of Santa Ana experiences dry, warm and sunny weather which is famous for Southern California in the summertime, with average temperatures in the daytime in the low 80s to mid 90s. The city experiences mild, wet winters with daytime temperatures that average in the high 70s to low 60s.
There are several sites of interest in Santa Ana as well as a number of parks that can provide an improved quality of life for the city's residents and visitors. The most famous recreation and attractions that can be found in the city are Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm amusement parks that are located northeast of Santa Ana.
