Buena Park, CA is located in Orange County, California. It is northwest of downtown Santa Ana. Buena Park was explored by settlers with land grants made by the King of Spain. It later fell under Mexican rule in 1822. The United States later took over power in 1848 at the end of the Mexican American War. Buena Park, CA was incorporated in 1953.
It was seen as a center for agriculture, and later developed into a commercial club and residential suburb.
The racial makeup is 45.3% White, 3.8% Black, 1.1% Native American, 26.7% Asian, 0.6% Pacific Islander, 17.5% other, 5.1% multiracial and 39.3 Hispanic. The population is 7,631 people per square mile.
